Grammy nominated American musician Scarlet Rivera burned a hole in the fabric of rock history as a pioneer of electric violin. From a classical background she bent the accepted norms by experimenting with all genres of music from Rock Fusion and Jazz to Latin polyrhythms and Celtic. She was a revolutionary from the start.
Bob Dylan was the first to discover and acknowledge Scarlet, making her as an integral part of the legendary Rolling Thunder Revue tour. This creative collaboration launched a career that has seen Scarlet perform and record with a who’s who critically acclaimed musicians, in the studio and on stages around the globe.
These days Scarlet is leaning notably into her work in film music. Throughout her career Scarlet has been a performer on soundtracks and composer for films and now she is focusing even more on the opportunities that are coming her way.
